Valentines Day Portraits of the kids 2012 { Linden Michigan Child Photographer }

Its that time of year again! I’m usually done with Valentines Day pictures by now but this year I was slacking a bit! This has been my busiest January, photography speaking, thus far! I love it! Babies, milestones, and families together for an extended Holiday break are keeping this gal busy with portraits. Just the way I like it!

My son is 9 and is getting more reluctant as the years go one, with these Valentines. So I let him put together his own look this year. He went through my templates and we adjusted one to suit what he wanted. So now we’re both happy.

I let the girls pick out their outfit. Its not necessarily what I would have chosen for Valentines Day Portraits, but it made them happy and I think they turned out adorable!

This handsome little guy has come to see me twice before. I photographed him when he was only 7 months old. And then again when he turned 1 year old! This time Mom wanted something a bit different. We wanted to get out of my studio but its also the middle of Winter, so we wanted to avoid the outside. We ended up having the session at their house! Mr. G is a typical 2 year old on the run. I had fun chasing him around the house (which btw is GORGEOUS!) and he seemed to enjoy showing off his books, blocks, letter toys and his favorite window.

There is nothing sweeter than holding a fresh newborn baby. Mr. E was no exception! Sweetest little boy ever! He wanted to stay awake for awhile and see what the heck was going on. Lights, camera.. action!

And I suppose he got his fill of the action and then decided to snooze!

These beautiful people are my Niece and Nephew. They wanted to get an updated portrait of themselves for their Mother (my Sister-in-Law) So sweet!

My Niece sent me this image after Christmas to show me their mantel filled with Cynthia Craine Photography creations! Love it!

Project 52 Week 46: from your phone {Genesee County Michigan Photographer}

This week’s theme is super easy! I have over 1000 images on my phone right now. Here is one that isn’t that great of quality but I love how it shows my girls’ typical poses. When I ask them to “go stand over there so I can take your picture” THIS is what I typically get before I give them more direction. Samantha puts her hands on her hips and bends over to one side LOL. Addison sweetly puts a hand on her hip and crosses her feet. She looks so dainty =)

Gorgeous Fall Portrait Session {Otisville Linden Michigan Fall Photography}

I’ve photographed this beautiful girl’s family before. Last December I photographed them in the snow. You can see that session here. I also photographed her older brother and his beautiful girlfriend last winter. I also have the pleasure to call this family MY family. How are they related? Well lets see, um, my husband’s, mom’s, sister’s, daughter’s, daughter’s family. Got that? haha, me either. So anyway, we just photographed Calie this time.

Newborn Sweetness {Linden Howell Newborn Photography}

This sweet little newborn (and his big brothers!) are the children of a good photographer friend of mine Christina from Two Angels Photography located in Howell, Michigan. I had the pleasure of photographing her maternity, birth and newborn portraits! What an honor to be included in such extraordinary events of someone’s life! I enjoyed and loved every minute! (yes, even the 13 hours I spent at the hospital during her labor and delivery!)
